Chocolate, Red Wine, and Antidepressants

        Antidepressant these are drugs which are use for the treatment of different depressive disorders such as anxiety, eating disorder,neuropathic pain

          and in some cases used in the treatment of migraine, hypersensitivity, disorder, sleep disorders.

 a class of antidepressant  known as mono amine  oxidase  inhibitors which contain drugs such as selegiline, phenelizine.

 when using this class of anti depressant, one cannot drink alcohol including red wine, the one cannot eat food containing tyramine examples are cheese, yogurt, one cannot also take cough medicines. because the MAO Inhibitors can cause an unsafe increase in the blood pressure.

  To avoid this alternative antidepressant should be used.
