tooth sensitivity

one of the major problem that affect our tooth today is tooth sensitivity, this happen when you eat or drink something cold,hot, sweet or sour.somethings a breath of cold air can cause it. the problem is as a result of the wearing out the enamel layer of the  tooth which is responsible for the protection of the teeth. this may be as a result of:

  • brushing your teeth too hard
  • gun recede: meaning the root surface lack enamel layer  because it has worn out
  • too much of acidic food can wear out the enamel
  • dental erosion
  • tooth girding
a cracked teeth: this happen if some fragment of your tooth has broken off leaving a hole in it or one just finished a dental procedure to fill the cracked teeth this can also lead to tooth sensitivity. all this can cause your teeth to be sensitive

  • treatment: brush two times daily using fluoride sensitivity toothpaste and brush your teeth softly.

  • sometimes rub the toothpaste on your teeth for few minutes before rinsing it off
one can also use mouth wash, and you can dilute if required. if  you dont get any relieve then go and see a dentist.
