Zambian culture:chileshe's matebeto from Annine







Matebeto is a ceremony performed by the bride and her family, this ceremony is done by the bride thanking the groom for accepting and taking care of her. While the bride's family thanking the groom's family for taking care of their daughter.
This ceremony can be done anytime after the wedding even 10 years after marriage.
This ceremony is common with the Bemba people in Zambia.
